Vedant Shetty wins the Tyrone Jack Memorial National Championship

The Tyrone Jack Memorial National Chess Championship was held on 17 and 18 January 2026 at the UWI Global Campus. Vedant Shetty won the open category and became overall champion, with Raymond Osakwe second and Terrence Latchman third.

Shetty also won the 2025 championship.
